Abstract

We live in a world where we are addicted to fossil fuels. We use them to power our ships, to make electricity, to make plastic and so on & eventually contributing to the greenhouse-effect which threatens our world. This paper is regarding the usage of METHANOL as ship fuel. A detailed comparison has been done between four of the available technologies which will unfasten the ships from its restrictions.
There will also be a discussion on capturing & storing of carbon dioxide onboard which will be later on converted to Methanol.
